Honorable mentions to:

  • It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Veep, for remaining solid in their 12th and 6th seasons when so many half-hour sitcom start to falter after three
  • Imposters, for employing Parker Young (RIP Enlisted) and providing some fun unlikely-team-on-a-road-trip-for-revenge comedy

Books:

Favorite books read in 2017 (fiction):

I was being super bitchy w.r.t. some former friends from college and positing a correlation between their seeming preference for non-fiction over fiction and how fucking boring they are as people, but it looks like I have not actually read much fiction this year either–less than half of my total books read so far.
